How to Do Laura Harrier’s Skincare Routine
Dealing with acne breakouts is never easy at any age. But it’s especially challenging when they erupt at the same time that your career in Hollywood is taking off, as 32-year-old Laura Harrier can attest.
“A few years ago, I got really bad cystic acne all over my forehead. I think it was hormonal, and I was travelling a ton, and I was probably stressed. I just broke out so terribly, and I’ve never experienced that [before]... I hadn’t dealt with acne until my late twenties.”[1]
Previously, she only used natural skincare products, but her new skin condition (and rising fame!) required more drastic measures—including an acne-clearing regimen devised by her facialist. “For a long time, I was very into super clean, natural skincare... but with all the breakout issues, I’ve had to amp it up. When my skin was perfect, the natural stuff was cool. But if I’m having issues, they don’t do enough.”[2]
These days, Laura’s routine includes both clinical and clean products. Here’s everything she swears by for glowing and blemish-free skin.

Infrared Sauna
“I do the infrared sauna. I feel it helps.”
Massage
“I get massages, but I don’t have one particular person I go to. [My last beauty treatment was] a massage/exfoliation at a Korean spa in L.A. Your skin comes off like a snake—it’s disgusting! But you’re left so smooth.”
Self-Care
“It’s all so connected. If I do my yoga and drink tons of water and center myself with friends and family, then I notice my body tends to calm down. Sometimes—not always—my skin will fall in step.”
